
Chabad Center of Raleigh Uses Non Profit Mail Services
The Chabad Center of Raleigh is the Orthodox Jewish congregation for the city.
The Chabad Center of Raleigh, also known as Congregation Sha’arei Israel, welcomes Jews from all traditions who wish to come and grow spiritually.
Members come from diverse backgrounds and levels of Jewish practice.
The Chabad Center of Raleigh prides itself on making each member feel like part of the family. There is joy when celebrating Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, and other joyous occasions.
On the other hand, Sha'arei helps its members deal with the grief of losing a loved one or other personal tragedy.
Founded in 1979, the synagogue is affiliated with the Chabad Lubavitch.
Services are held on Shabbat (Sabbath),
Jewish holidays and during the week,
both in the morning and in the evening.
Although the services are read in Hebrew, the prayer books contain English translations. Explanations, instructions and sermons are in English as well.
he synagogue houses a kosher mikveh for the entire
Triangle community.
Members are encouraged to learn about our rich Jewish tradition. Chabad of Raleigh has study groups for men, women and children.
Talmud Torah classes are scheduled both during
the week and on Sunday
during the school year.
Bar & Bat Mitzvah
