Save Big on Postage Costs by Keeping Your List Clean

Every mail piece, regardless of class, has two things in common: the intended recipient and the address. When both are accurate and complete, the mail piece can be delivered quickly and easily.

If either the recipient has moved or the address is incorrect or missing an important
addressing element, then the mail piece could become undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA) mail -- a waste of time, effort, and money for both mailers and the Postal Service.

MarketPlace-Mail.com is committed to making sure our clients mail is delivered. Working with the Post Office, we offer several ways to make sure this happens.

We start by adding ZIP+4. A ZIP+4 indicates that such an address exists. The Post Office recently required that another process called DPV, or Destination Point Validation. This insures that there is an actual, physical mail box for that address.

This is basic -- and a standard part of getting the lowest postage.

However, there are other services that certain clients need. The Post Office offers

We work with the client to determine their needs before deciding which service to offer. Is it an old list and probably had a lot of people move? Is it important to find this out BEFORE mailing? Then we recommend NCOA processing.

Is the mailing list current, but you want information on recent moves to keep your database clean, then we set up a Address Change Service account. This works with the specific type of endorsements.

Clients for NCOA have included the local MS Society, Interact , The Angus Barn, and the Raleigh-Cary Jewish Federation.

Want it to delivered to whoever is living at an address? We can do that, too!

The options are confusing. Bottom line, contact MarketPlace-Mail.com at 919-848-4332, info@marketplace-mail.com to discuss your requirements and we will explain the options and handle everything for you.
